First off, I wasn't expecting much because extreme series is known to have just an OK performance with almost a little to no difference in sound quality over each generation. But WTH, they shove a subwoofer on this one and now this small package sounds way way bigger than its size! The clarity with mids and highs is also extremely satisfying! One of the best hands-down improvement the JBL portables have ever seen! Just buy one and listen to your favorite track and you'll be submerge to its glory!
